Gentamicin sulphate is a broad spectrum antibiotic of the aminoglycoside group. Tiacil ophthalmic solution is indicated for the treatment of blepharitis, conjunctivitis, keratoconjunctivitis (including post-operative keratitis) and anterior uveitis, in dogs, cats and rabbits. Tiacil ophthalmic solution is a sterile, colourless viscous liquid. Each 1.0ml contains gentamicin sulphate 3.0mg, trometamol 6.0mg, disodium edetate (EDTA) 5.0mg.
