Nail trimming should be a regular part of your pet's grooming and is important for your pet's well-being.
Hold the dog's paw firmly and look carefully at how much you can cut from each nail.
Avoid cutting the "quick" (blood vessel).
If nails are light-coloured you can see the quick which is pink in colour. Cut the tapered curved end carefully with the blade moving upwards.
Remember to also cut the dewclaw.
